Job Description
We are seeking a GIS Intern to support municipal transportation projects by assisting with data collection, GIS data development, and map production.
Requirements
- Create eye-catching maps, graphics, and visualizations used in real client projects
- Analyze spatial data to support transportation, environmental, water, and land development projects
- Assist with building and maintaining GIS databases and web maps
- Support field data collection and integrate data into GIS platforms
- Perform geoprocessing and basic spatial analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and learn how GIS fits into the full project lifecycle
- Learn new skills and contribute to project tasks and activities
- Ask lots of questions!
