Head of Platform Engineering - Flutter UKI, Hybrid. The role involves leading senior engineering leaders and teams operating a business-critical, regulated estate. Responsibilities include owning and modernising private cloud, data centre and core infrastructure platforms, driving simplification, raising reliability, and leading security and resilience execution.

Requirements

• Proven senior leadership experience running critical infrastructure/platform services at scale
• Track record of simplification (decommissioning, consolidation, automation) that measurably reduces toil and improves stability
• Strong operational governance: incident management, RCA discipline, change controls, DR/backup assurance
• Ability to set strategy, define OKRs, and deliver through multiple teams with pace and accountability
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management — confident at C-level and credible deep in the engineering detail
• A people-first leadership style that builds capability, engagement and sustainable performance
