Job Description
Join the BILH team as a Clinical Pharmacist and make a difference in people's lives. Supports the mission of the department by ensuring safe and timely medication administration. Clinically reviews medication orders and intervenes with prescribers as needed.
Requirements
- Clinically reviews medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy
- Intervenes with prescribers when necessary and documents clinical interventions
- Supervises pharmacy technicians and interns
- Provides drug information to medical staff and patients
- Manages day-to-day drug distribution, including controlled substances
- Utilizes technology to accomplish tasks
- Participates in continuous performance improvement activities
