Job Description
Clinical Pharmacist II role supports the mission of the department by ensuring patients receive the right medication in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities include clinically reviewing medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians and interns, and providing drug information to medical staff and patients.
Requirements
- Clinically reviews all medication orders to ensure safety
- Intervenes with healthcare professionals when necessary
- Supervises pharmacy technicians and interns
- Provides drug information to medical staff and patients
- Manages day-to-day drug distribution
- Serves as liaison between pharmacy department and healthcare providers
