Dosimetrist - 40 hours

We are seeking a Dosimetrist to join our team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. As a Dosimetrist, you will perform duties involved with treatment planning, customized treatment aids and devices, brachytherapy treatments, quality assurance, and minor equipment / machine maintenance. This is a hybrid opportunity with up to 3 home office days.

Requirements

• Assists therapists with patient simulations and patient immobilization
• Develops computerized treatment plans and calculates doses for conformal, IMRT, stereotactic and forward planned patients
• Casts low-melt alloy blocks and assembles customized absorbers or other treatment aids as required
• Maintains supplies used in treatment planning, block cutting and related activities
