Job Description
Public Safety Officer responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors, providing assistance in emergencies, and responding to incidents. Must have adequate reading, oral, and written communicative skills, with associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
Requirements
- Respond promptly to emergencies, codes, and alarms
- Provide assistance in many different circumstances, settings, and weather
- Coordinate with local Police, Fire, and Emergency personnel
- Conduct safety searches, medical emergency calls, and provide patient observation
- Perform desk duties, including monitoring CCTV monitors and alarm/access control computer
- Maintain positive public relations attitude and perform adjacent duties as required
