Research Associate

The Laboratory of Dr. Veronique VanderHorst at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is recruiting a Research Associate to work on studies that focus on structure and function of brainstem circuits. The position involves conducting experiments, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with supervisor in writing and editing materials for publication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
• 3-5 years related work experience
• Extensive experience in immunostaining, ISH
• Extensive experience in quantitative image analyses
• Experience in confocal imaging
• Proven track record to plan, organize and execute studies independently
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written English
• Ability to comprehend and converse in English
• Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures and policies
