Special Education Teacher, Solstice School

Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction and services to students with disabilities in accordance with Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) regulations and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Requirements

• Massachusetts Educator License in Special Education (e.g., Moderate Disabilities 5–12)
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Massachusetts Special Education Regulations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required
