Responsible for evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders affecting speech, voice, language and swallowing abilities in adults and pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Maintains comprehensive records regarding patient care in reports and correspondence
- Provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment for speech, voice and swallowing disorders
- Participates in research projects coordinated by the Speech Pathologists
- Attends and participates in continuing education within Lahey Clinic as well as outside conferences
- Complies with Speech, Voice and Swallowing infection control measures and safety program
- Maintains courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients
- Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment
- Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities
- Participates in and successfully completes Mandatory Education
- Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department
