Speech Language Pathologist

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders affecting speech, voice, language and swallowing abilities in adults and pediatric patients.

Requirements

• Maintains comprehensive records regarding patient care in reports and correspondence
• Provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment for speech, voice and swallowing disorders
• Participates in research projects coordinated by the Speech Pathologists
• Attends and participates in continuing education within Lahey Clinic as well as outside conferences
• Complies with Speech, Voice and Swallowing infection control measures and safety program
• Maintains courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients
• Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment
• Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities
• Participates in and successfully completes Mandatory Education
• Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department
