Job Description
The Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS) Family Peer Specialist will provide support to children and families by engaging with them, providing resources, and offering emotional support to caregivers. The Family Peer Specialist shares their own experiences to help caregivers develop motivation and insight.
Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent required
- Direct personal experience with managing family issues, children/adolescents with behavioral and psychiatric challenges
- Lived Experience in Foster Care or a child receiving Foster Care services
