Senior Backend Engineer (PHP/Python)

Betr is building the world's first real money gaming super app. The company's first product, Betr Picks, launched in September 2023 and quickly grew to several hundreds of thousands of paying users. Betr is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join their team to contribute to the development and expansion of their current Laravel-based betting platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in PHP and deep experience with the Laravel framework
• Professional experience or strong proficiency in Python
• Understand the value of writing unit tests
• Experience working remote
• Knowledge of database design and SQL
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage & ensure quality work (completeness & accuracy)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
