AI Extern

BetterHelp is on a mission to remove the traditional barriers to therapy and make mental health care more accessible to everyone. As an AI Extern, you'll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s or PhD program in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics,Operations Research, or Engineering
• Completed coursework in NLP and LLM
• Deep understanding of neural networks and deep learning and generative AI
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning
• Experience building predictive models and causal inference models
• Familiarity with generative AI
• Experience analyzing large and complex data sets
• Experience using tools like Pytorch (preferably) or Tensorflow
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
