Manual QA Engineer (Web)

BetterMe is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in manual testing Web applications, 1+ year of experience in API testing, and experience with SQL databases. The role involves manual testing of Web and APIs, existing test documentation creation and support, and active participation in the development process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing Web applications
• 1+ year of experience in API testing
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience in writing test documentation (test cases, bug reports, checklists)
• Understanding how the web and client-server interactions work is essential
• Solid understanding of core testing principles to enhance software quality
• Deep understanding of STLC and SDLC to ensure effective testing processes
• Practical experience with test design techniques to create efficient test cases
• Knowledge and experience working with such applications: TestRail/Jira/
• Experience with AI tools - ChatGPT usage or analogues
