Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer assists with the operational and financial management of engineering, fabrication, and operations of gas turbines, gas turbine packages, and their ancillary equipment. The role is a dynamic mix of technical expertise, project management, and strategic leadership.

Requirements

• Project manage the engineering and manufacturing of new equipment and upgrades.
• Communicate and interface with other functional groups within the network of internal companies including Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Field Support as needed.
• Maintain schedule to assure on time deliveries.
• Perform essential reviews of new and old designs and related equipment.
• Manage the modifications and upgrades of existing equipment.
• Red line engineered drawings where applicable.
• Evaluate new products and new product implementation.
• Aid operations with installation and commissioning of newly designed gas turbine packages and other equipment.
• Be the liaison between shop personnel and engineering.
• Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace.
• Evaluate operational readiness of newly designed gas turbine packages and related equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful business operations and business continuity.
