Job Description
The Behavior Technician provides behavioral services to individuals with severe developmental and cognitive disabilities, their families, and the staff who serve them. The position involves implementing behavior intervention plans, assisting with data collection and entry, and providing crisis intervention when needed.
Requirements
- Provide care and services to promote a safe environment for students and staff.
- Provide crisis intervention for students, as needed.
- Assist classroom staff and therapists with students’ behavioral needs
- Maintain documentation and collects data regarding contacts with students.
- Assist in training staff on implementation of students’ behavior intervention plans, data collection, and other support strategies.
- Maintain certification in Ukeru, CPR, and First Aid
