Requirements
- 6-8 years in financial services with industry and consulting experience
- Experience working with senior leaders on regulatory audit engagements
- Experience working with change programmes to deliver FC technology
- Ability to demonstrate integration of new regulatory requirements and understanding their impact
- Evidence of successfully owning / co-owning deliverables as workstream lead or project manager within enterprise transformation change initiatives
- Ability to develop practical solutions to regulatory issues with a focus on risk outcomes
- Ability to develop risk management frameworks (or parts of) and drafting supporting documentation
- Ability to identify opportunities for account growth and sales and contributing to developing proposals and campaigns
- Ability to support strong client relationships, playing a leading role in client engagements and accounts
- Ability to drive meetings and facilitated workshops
- Ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple activities
- Ability to create and develop written and visual materials like PowerPoint presentations and reports
- Ability to support the development of others within the team, training and coaching more junior colleagues
- Expertise in AML, CTF, Financial Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Facilitation of Tax Evasion, Fraud prevention
- Deep understanding of FC risk management frameworks
- Advisory experience across operational areas such as KYC, Screening, Transaction Monitoring, SARs, Court Orders, Exits etc.
- Good knowledge of global legislation and regulatory environments (particularly: UK, EU and US)
- Working towards or holding a recognised financial crime prevention qualification (ICA or ACAMs)
- A strong intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning through independent research
- Excellent problem-solving abilities through consultative questioning
- Effective communication, structuring insights into clear message, and engaging with stakeholders
- Innovative thinking with a positive attitude to change, embracing new ideas to improve performance
- Supporting with materials at industry events
