BGIS is a leading provider of real estate and facility management services. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and supervising construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in project engineering in the construction services industry
- Experience in construction or a similar field
- Project Management: proven ability and experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, specifications, and all requirements
- Project Budget Management: proven ability and experience in preparing and managing project budgets
- Project Risk Management: proven ability and experience in mitigating and managing project risks
- Advanced practical knowledge of provincial building codes and ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards
- Proven leadership abilities and ability to work independently
- Proven experience in a complex environment with multiple client projects
- Proven experience in collaborating with other consultants and contractors and coordinating large projects
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, methods, and standards
- Communication: superior communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Relationship Building: proven ability and experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships
- Client Management: proven ability and experience in managing client relationships and client expectations
- Customer Service Orientation: excellent customer service skills
- Project Team Leadership: proven ability and experience in leading project teams
- Supplier Management: proven ability and experience in managing supplier performance
- Quality: commitment to continuous improvement and quality; desire to always seek and integrate best practices and technologies to optimize program delivery and provide value to the client
- IT: experience with the MS Office suite and project tracking software, and proven ability to quickly learn new applications
