Job Description
BGIS is seeking an experienced General Manager – Asset Management to lead the strategic asset management function for a newly awarded Victorian government contract. The ideal candidate brings a balanced blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and people-focused leadership, with a genuine interest in collaboration, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management or a related field
- Extensive experience in strategic asset management across large or complex portfolios
- Strong understanding of lifecycle planning, statutory compliance, asset risk and AMAF principles
- Demonstrated experience leading senior asset, engineering or technical teams
- High proficiency with asset systems, FM technologies and data-driven reporting
- Clear, considered communication skills and the ability to present complex information thoughtfully
