Job Description
BGIS is seeking a General Repair Technician III to operate and maintain facility mechanical equipment and systems. This role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and responding to service requests while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client expectations. The Technician will contribute to asset integrity and facility uptime.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
- Preventative and corrective maintenance of facility mechanical and other systems
- Monitoring facility by conducting walk-throughs
- Compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire codes
- Client-service orientation and high sense of urgency
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS)
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work shifts, be available for on-call/standby
- Must adhere to Health and Safety policies
