Mobile Engineer

The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for carrying out routine PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring the safe and healthy working environment, and maintaining a professional image of BGIS.

Requirements

• Ensure routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical & Electrical plant
• Ensure reactive tasks throughout the building are completed
• Ensure sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract
• Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation
• Operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with BGIS Quality, Health & Safety procedures and client requirements
• Ensure plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied
• Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks undertaken
• Develop a good working relationship with all members of BGIS staff, subcontractors and the client representatives
• Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment
• Ensure the professional image of BGIS is presented to clients at all times
• Supervise and monitor sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance
• Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate
• Operate a Computer Based Maintenance system, e.g. Maximo
• Proactively check the operation of the LOTO system
• Overview the buildings environmental conditions using the BMS System
