Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be a member of the professional services team and provide electrical engineering and design to assigned electrical project deliverables. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work on electrical systems designs on various projects within a versatile team where all abilities are put to good use.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in electrical design/engineering.
• Familiar with Electrical Codes and Provincial Building Codes.
• Experience in engineering consulting.
• Highly meticulous nature, strong attention to detail.
• Engineering and construction of building and site electrical, power, lighting and life safety systems (fire alarm, etc).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast paced environment.
• Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages considered an asset.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and other employees.
• Strong organization skills.
• Prior customer interface experience.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computer Tools.
• Knowledge of building mechanical systems would be an asset.
• Must hold a degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Ontario Professional Engineer (P.Eng. PEO) required.
• Engineering license in other provinces would be an asset.
• Driver’s license.
