Job Description
Diesel and gas service technicians and mechanics inspect, repair, or overhaul trucks, and anything else with a diesel or gas engine and other rolling equipment for the company, performing mechanical and preventive maintenance repairs to automotive, diesel, and other power-driven equipment.
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent work experience
- Automotive equipment repair and maintenance experience
- 1 yr or more experience as an assistant mechanic
- Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is the recognized industry credential for diesel and other automotive service technicians and mechanics
- Excellent verbal, written and customer relations skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Active driver’s license
