Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

Big Ass Fans is on a mission to make the world safer, healthier, and more productive, and we’re looking for an Environment, Health, and Safety Associate to help lead the way. In this role, you’ll assist with the administration, implementation, and enforcement of BAF’s health and safety policies while supporting a strong, people-first safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Management, or a related engineering/scientific field preferred.
• 1–3 years of safety or EHS experience preferred.
• Technical safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, Fall Protection Competent Person) strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Experience supporting safety in warehouse, construction, mobile equipment, and production environments.
• Ability to develop written procedures, identify hazards, evaluate safety issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; able to influence at all levels.
• Self‐motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
• Ability to conduct audits and investigations as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
