Solutions/Presales Engineer - Japan

BigID is an innovative tech startup that focuses on solutions for data security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management. We're looking for a Solutions/Presales Engineer to join our team in Japan, who is bilingual in English and Japanese.

Requirements

• Interpersonal communication and customer relationship skills
• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask
• Demonstrated ability to address customer needs and provide best practices
• Strong background in Big Data, AI, privacy, data governance, or information security
• Good troubleshooting abilities and a methodical approach
• Ability to describe complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Broad understanding of enterprise data architecture, privacy, and security technologies
• Ability to plan, execute and close out a Proof of Concept with minimal assistance and oversight
• Minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales or consulting role within a multinational environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (master’s degree a plus)
