State Government Affairs Director

The State Government Affairs Director will represent bioMérieux before US State policymakers and implement long-term plans for State legislative and Medicaid advocacy work. This individual will lead the US State Government Affairs initiatives to protect and advance patient access to bioMérieux diagnostics and its business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in public administration, public health, health administration, political science, life sciences, business or other related field.
• 7+ years of professional related experience, including experience lobbying multiple states, state-level legislative staffer, or state-government affairs lobbyist.
• Effective presentation skills, ability to deal with difficult situations, creativity, and leading without authority.
• Skilled in MS Office tools, advanced knowledge of US state-level political environment, knowledge of state legislative and rulemaking processes.
