Job Description
BioMarin is seeking a Director, Value Chain Product Leader to design, operate, and continuously improve a best-in-class value chain that connects patients to medicines. The role provides end-to-end accountability for the product value chain, ensuring alignment to product strategy, enterprise standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, supply chain, or business administration
- 8–12+ years in materials management/production planning/scheduling
- 5–10+ years in GMP/GCP compliant pharmaceutical operations
- 2–5+ years leading global, cross-functional, matrixed teams
- Strong supply chain and value chain management expertise
- ERP expertise (Oracle or SAP preferred)
- Pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks (GMP, ICH)
- Risk and project/program management
- Executive-level communication, influence-based leadership, cross-cultural/global execution, strategic and operational thinking, continuous improvement and process excellence mindset
