Material Handling Lead

Biomerics is a world-class manufacturer and innovative polymer solutions provider for the medical device and biotech industries. The Material Handling Lead will be detail-oriented and proactive to drive day-to-day activities while supporting these activities directly where required. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record in inventory management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse operations; prior leadership experience preferred.
• Experience cutting, measuring (with calipers), preparing/kitting, and staging a variety of materials for manufacturing, preferably in a machine shop setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred.
• Any lean experience or education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices, including cycle counting and reconciliation, shipping and receiving
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
