Requirements
- Maintain regular, on-site, and reliable attendance
- Inspect parts, strips, components, and tools
- Perform unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with management on continuous process improvement
- Read and interpret blueprints or work from verbal/written instructions or physical samples
- Determine specifications and inspect work using precision measuring and gauging tools before, during, and after machining
- Perform hand operations to produce jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies using trade-specific hand tools
- Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies
- Set up and test dies to ensure products meet specifications; diagnose and correct die issues
- Update all shop prints with redline changes
- Record work performed and hours expended on tool maintenance cards; sign off on completed work
- Maintain daily timesheets for tool maintenance cost analysis
- Clean and maintain assigned equipment and work area
- Collaborate with product designers by providing input on manufacturing capabilities for new products
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
- Carry out responsibilities beneficial to company operations as directed by Biomerics management
