Requirements

• Maintain regular, on-site, and reliable attendance
• Inspect parts, strips, components, and tools
• Perform unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with management on continuous process improvement
• Read and interpret blueprints or work from verbal/written instructions or physical samples
• Determine specifications and inspect work using precision measuring and gauging tools before, during, and after machining
• Perform hand operations to produce jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies using trade-specific hand tools
• Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies
• Set up and test dies to ensure products meet specifications; diagnose and correct die issues
• Update all shop prints with redline changes
• Record work performed and hours expended on tool maintenance cards; sign off on completed work
• Maintain daily timesheets for tool maintenance cost analysis
• Clean and maintain assigned equipment and work area
• Collaborate with product designers by providing input on manufacturing capabilities for new products
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
• Carry out responsibilities beneficial to company operations as directed by Biomerics management
