Job Description
The Director, Strategic Clinical Vendor Management will oversee third-party vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and operational excellence in BioNTech's global clinical trials. This role will contribute to the company's mission of advancing medicine by enabling efficient clinical trial supply management.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Clinical Operations, and strategic sourcing
- Proven expertise in global clinical supply chain management and logistics up to Phase III trials
- Strong negotiation skills paired with experience in vendor governance and budget management
- In-depth knowledge of GxP principles, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional project management skills with a track record of implementing cost-efficiency initiatives
