Job Description
Bird Construction is seeking a HSE Coordinator to ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment Management Program, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and client site-specific requirements. The HSE Coordinator will work on-site in Victoria, BC to implement and manage the Bird Safety Program, develop a proactive safety culture, and maintain site HSE statistics.
Requirements
- OH&S certificate or diploma from a post-secondary institution (BCIT, UofA, UNB, UFRED, or similar)
- Hold a valid Level 2 or 3 First Aid certificate
- CSO Designation is considered an asset
- 3-5 years’ HSE experience, preferably in a construction environment
- Valid Drivers License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
- End-User Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Standard First Aid considered an asset
