Job Description
Bird is a leading Canadian construction company seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to provide leadership in mechanical and electrical construction. The role involves coordinating activities in pre-construction, construction, and start-up of building systems, including temporary services, site services, elevators, mechanical, and electrical.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in construction management or related field
- 5+ years' experience in mechanical and electrical construction
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering systems, principles, and practices
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices and techniques and industry regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated success in providing value via constructability reviews, identified cost savings, market sensitivity, and innovation
