Nuclear Estimator will assume responsibility for the preconstruction cost management of large-scale projects. The role will involve working closely with the owner, design consultant, and Project Manager to prepare cost plans, undertake value engineering, and develop the project budget.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in quantity surveying or engineering
- 6+ years of 'hands-on' nuclear experience in the capacity of Estimator
- Direct estimation experience of large commercial, high rise, or institutional construction projects $100M and greater
- Demonstrate integrity and strives for excellence in the quality of work
- Ability to communicate with project team, subtrades, consultants, and owner
- Experience working with estimating software programs
- Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, strong math skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
