Fleet Manager - Penticton, Canada (Contract)

Bird is a global leader in micromobility, dedicated to shaping the future of urban movement. We are looking for a Fleet Manager to take responsibility for all elements of the local fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes in Penticton, Canada.

Requirements

• Vehicle Access (Required): Must own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle (van/truck) suitable for transporting multiple scooters/bikes.
• Storage Space: Access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity is highly preferred for maximizing earnings (allows for overnight charging).
• License: Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or applicable commercial license) with a clean driving record for all operating drivers.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly; must be able to stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods while handling heavy equipment.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with a willingness to regularly operate on weekends.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning new mobile tools to locate and manage the fleet.
• Local Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Penticton's local geography.
