Power Systems Electrical Engineer (PE)

Bitdeer Inc. is searching for an accomplished, experienced Electrical Engineer with experience in Low, Medium and High Voltage, to contribute to innovative, industry-leading projects. The electrical engineer will collaborate with a variety of colleagues across project teams and other departments.

Requirements

• Develop detailed Electrical Engineering CAD drawings and specifications related to power supply infrastructure for mining data centers
• Assist procurement to specify electrical equipment including transformers, switches, distribution panels, PDUS, cabling, cable trays and other electrical equipment and associated ratings to meet electrical Code requirements
• Provides electrical engineering recommendations and technical support on electrical engineering design, scope of work, and equipment procurement
• Assists with cost allocation/estimation, budgeting, resource planning, scheduling, and project management
• Establishes technical standards in reviews, documentations, and designs
• During the construction process, follow design to ensure all electrical equipment, cables, and installations meet standards, making sure all necessary tests have been completed satisfactory to code requirements
• Lead on-site electrical safety maintenance including, but not limited to, regular safety checking for all electrical equipment, power supply infrastructure to maintain a good level of risk management to avoid downtime of major equipment/machineries or any accidents
• Provide electrical technical support to new sites development
• Communicate engineering information across teams and departments to facilitate successful completion of large-scale projects
• Work and liaise with internal key stakeholders in the US as well as in Asia
