The role involves providing high-level architectural direction, designing scalable data architectures, and driving complex technology discussions to establish the value of the Databricks platform throughout the sales lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role
• Expertise in big data engineering, data warehousing, data science, and machine learning
• 3+ years of working directly with Databricks
• Databricks certification at the professional level
• Experience translating customer business needs to technology solutions
• Ability to design, architect, and present data systems for customers
• Fluency in SQL and database technology
• Debug and development experience in Python, Scala, Java, or R
