Job Description
BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Shipping Supervisor Perishables to oversee the efficient operation of its shipping operation. The successful candidate will ensure that safety and efficiency standards are met while providing coaching and feedback to the team.
Requirements
- Supervise warehouse operations including selection, replenishment, loading, checking, shipping, and safety processes
- Ensure all outbound product is 'club ready' and results are documented
- Manage Incident Rate and Lost Time Incident Rate by monitoring sanitation and safety policies
- Monitor/audit daily for food safety guidelines
- Review and act based on daily and weekly reports to ensure acceptable levels of performance
- Collect/analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Participate in the hiring process
- Conduct performance reviews and provide input to manager regarding promotions and terminations
- Crosstrain in all shipping team positions
