Job Description
Our client is a well-established Canadian company seeking an Advisory Lawyer to provide legal guidance to its clientele within a structured and collaborative environment. The role involves responding to legal information requests, conducting case law and legislative research, and drafting demand letters and reviewing contracts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil law
- Member of the Quebec Bar for at least 3 years (or member of another Canadian Bar)
- Common Law degree (an asset)
- Full bilingual proficiency (French and English, written and spoken)
- Strong command of legal research tools (CAIJ, Azimut, CanLII or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to simplify and clearly communicate legal concepts
- Strong organizational skills and professional autonomy
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Comfortable using technological tools and case management systems (CRM)
