Job Description
Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Water Resources Engineer to support stormwater planning, asset management, and integrated planning projects within the U.S. planning and water resources business. The role focuses on areas like hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water supply planning, green infrastructure, and erosion control, contributing to client-facing and business development efforts. The company emphasizes a hybrid work environment and employee ownership.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of water resources planning, stormwater design, dam safety, and/or condition assessment experience
- Proficiency with working and collaborating in virtual environments (MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project), ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS, AutoCAD, and HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA/XP-SWMM, InfoWorks
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent).
