Staff Substation Designer - AutoCad Electrical

Black & Veatch is seeking a Staff Substation Designer for AutoCAD Electrical to develop and modify technical deliverables. This role involves applying engineering principles, utilizing digital tools, and providing technical guidance to other engineers. Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate preferred
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
• Minimum of 3-8 years related work experience
• Basic experience with AutoCAD Electrical (SDS) and Protection & Controls drawings (AIS and/or GIS)
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and Black and Veatch policies and procedures
• Basic knowledge of construction and constructability practices and principles
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles
