Application Architect (Information Technology/Software)

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally and is seeking an Application Architect to offer services as an expert based in Brussels, Belgium.

Requirements

• Master degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years
• Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems
• Experience with large projects or programmes
• Experience in Agile as well as agile toolbox (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle
• Excellent knowledge of cloud architecture frameworks
• Excellent knowledge of Infrastructure as code
• Practical knowledge of (Open-Source) data sharing tools (EDC, Gaia-X, others), models and standards (W3C DID, W3C DCAT, W3C ODRL)
• Good Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework
• Good knowledge of security mechanisms for cloud architectures (e.g., IdP) and best practices and patterns
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud
• Good knowledge of applications design
• Good knowledge of modelling tools
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS
• Good knowledge of business process analysis
• Good knowledge of interoperability technologies at cloud infrastructure level but also at service level (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture)
• Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning or High-Performance services
• Knowledge of Infrastructure or data layer
• Excellent command of the English language
