Job Description
Our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s M365, Azure, Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line. The company is looking for a talented Data Engineer who will assist in designing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) and large-scale Data Analytics solutions for their customers.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob storage, Azure Cosmos DB
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
- Experience in OLAP technology and the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
- An understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworks
- Familiar with development approaches such as CI/CD and Microservices
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Customer-service oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level
