Systems Engineer - DevOps,Linux (Information Technology/Software)

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally and is seeking a Systems Engineer - DevOps,Linux fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert based in Strasbourg, France. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, preferably in computer science
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT
• Proven experience in project management
• Experience as Linux System Engineer (Debian, RHEL, RockyLinux, Ubuntu)
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, scripting (Python/Bash) and cloud (Azure/AWS)
• Good knowledge of web hosting under Apache/nGinx/Traefik
• Good knowledge of backup, virtualization and paravirtualization, Docker Swarm, Portainer
• Good knowledge of Puppet, Terraform, and Ansible
• Good knowledge of Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Minio, Thanos, OpenTelemetry
• Good knowledge of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Syslog-ng components
• Knowledge of networking, Netfilter, Strongswan and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of authentication/identification, SAMLv2, OpenID Connect
• Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
• Excellent command of the English and French language
