Job Description
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will plan, lay-out, install, test, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control systems in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of the electrical craft and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Requirements
- Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, assemble, and install electrical conduits
- Weld supports
- Install cable and duct banks
- Make terminations in accordance with required color codes and other specifications
- Pull wire through conduit
- Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Install control and distribution apparatus
- Install grounding leads
- Splice wire
- Test continuity of circuits
- Install all other related items in accordance with plans and specifications
