Associate Acoustics & Noise Control Specialist

As an Associate Acoustics & Noise Control Specialist at Black & Veatch, you will work with a dynamic team to support project owners in identifying and mitigating risk associated with environmental noise and industrial noise control.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in engineering or science; specialization in acoustics and/or noise control preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in acoustical consulting; specific experience in industrial noise control and environmental noise assessment preferred
• Positive, team-first, get-the-job-done commitment
• Highly developed critical thinking skills with proven problem-solving capabilities
• Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and graphics programs; experience with environmental noise modeling software preferred; familiarity with GIS software would also be beneficial
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to balance multiple projects while working under tight deadlines
• Strong technical writing abilities
