Job Description
As an Associate Overhead Transmission Line Structural Engineer at Black & Veatch, you will support global transmission projects, perform design engineering and analysis, and develop recommendations for equipment and materials. You will work on large, extensive 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects, including trending technologies like HVDC and 765kV.
Requirements
- Support global transmission projects performing design engineering and analysis of transmission line work.
- Collect and assimilate data for engineering work.
- Perform research and prepare calculations in accordance with Black & Veatch and industry standards.
- Develop recommendations for equipment and materials.
- Understand and work successfully within budget, project schedule, and quality requirements.
