Job Description
As a Civil Engineer - Water at Black & Veatch, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects, leading significant portions of facilities throughout the design and construction phases. You will be responsible for developing reports, conducting studies, and preparing contract documents, while also participating in scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. You will work with internal and external team members to coordinate project tasks and communicate client interests and drivers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration
- Thorough understanding of water and wastewater design
- Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
