Project Manager - Water/Wastewater - Southern CA

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and expanding water/wastewater team in Southern California. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading our State and Local Government and Water business with clients in Southern California.

Requirements

• Prepare and implement Client Development Plans for assigned clients
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, business partners, and competitors
• Develop client and pursuit strategies
• Lead or support proposal development
• Make Go / No Go decisions or recommendations and assist with preparation of Proposal Review Board documents
• Serve as the Client Director and provide leadership to project and pursuit teams
• Meet new business and earnings financial goals
• Manage assigned business development budget
• Manage contracts and legal issues
• Manage and mitigate risks
• Identify key client interests and drivers on projects and pursuits and communicate with team members
• Leverage professional networking skills to help identify and pursue project opportunities
• Supervise and mentor project team members
