Sr. Project Manager - Water Business

As a Sr. Project Manager - Water Business, you will manage all aspects of small to medium projects, including risk to cost, schedule, quality, and provide for the successful staffing of the project. You will also manage and lead medium teams of multi-discipline professionals and coordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team.

Requirements

• Business development: Leading team efforts for marketing, strategy development, prospect identification, proposal development, proposal preparation, client presentations, project budgeting and contracting for successful opportunities
• Project management: External focus to interact with assigned clients, become involved in client activities and promote Black & Veatch through client and community activities
• Project execution: Oversight of engineering manager(s), development of project performance goals, accountability for implementation, active involvement with internal project team and owner project representatives on project activities
• Staff management: Team development, mentoring and coaching on performance improvement, recommendations for training and promotion of assigned professionals as well as identification and development of new candidates to expand the Black & Veatch team
