Thermal Performance Engineer

As a Thermal Performance Engineer, you will perform thermal modeling of conventional generation power plants, participate in feasibility studies, and support power generation project owners and developers. You will also prepare and review engineering deliverables, evaluate new power and infrastructure projects, and provide technical support for carbon capture studies.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in the electric power industry
• Experience in thermal power generation
• Experience in owner’s engineering design reviews of electric power projects
• Experience with performance testing of thermal energy plants
• Detailed understanding of power station operation and maintenance
• Excellent technical communication and writing skills
• Familiarity with design codes and standards
• Thermal modeling of conventional generation power plants using Thermoflow or similar software
