QA Platform Engineer

Black Canyon Consulting is searching for a QA Platform Engineer to support work for the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The position involves developing and improving DevSecOps, DataOps, and Observability platforms, and ensuring compliance with federal application security regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Proven software development skills using modern computing languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Automating tests (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Strong coding skills in at least one programming language
• Adequate level of Linux command-line skills
• Familiarity with build tools and various web, RPC, and other frameworks
• Experience with design patterns in coding and architecture
